Woolworths Change Management Training Course 2026

IBL Africa

Dear Valued Woolworths Suppliers

Change is inevitable, in fact it is needed for growth and continuous improvement. Uncontrolled changes may lead to instability in your food safety and quality management systems, which can lead to possible food safety and/or quality failures. Therefore it is important to manage change to ensure that it has no effect (or as little as possible) on food safety and quality.

We have therefore designed a Virtual Change Management Workshop for suppliers, facilitated by IBL Africa.

There will be no cost to the suppliers for this training, and we encourage all suppliers to allow their teams to attend.

The training will focus on Change Management; how to plan for change, executing the change and finally managing the change to ensure it becomes the new normal.

Various change examples/scenarios will be workshopped such as:

  • Construction of a fully operational premises (production not stopping), including extension to premises.
  • Changes to production volumes increasing (including promotions), and capacity planning.
  • New equipment or modifications to current equipment.
  • Purchasing of used equipment.
  • Changes to suppliers of raw materials, ingredients and packaging.
  • Changes to suppliers of cleaning chemicals, cleaning equipment and consumables (e.g. disposable PPE).

  • Changes to Supplier Services contractors and vendors (e.g. contract cleaning; outsourced maintenance; pest control; frequent outsourced contractors; medical resources; canteen food services).
